[Case Study] DfAM & 3D Printing
Integrating nine components increases the heat exchange area by 74%! We will introduce several examples, including the "EGR Cooler."
We would like to introduce a case study on "DfAM & 3D Printing." In the case of the "EGR Cooler," we provided a domestic automobile manufacturer with a design for the internal heat exchange component to improve thermal efficiency, as well as an optimal design for the attachment bracket to integrate parts. This resulted in a 15% increase in the thermal efficiency of the exhaust gas. Additionally, we have various other case studies such as the "Trail Shielding Box" and "Dual-Readout Calorimeter." 【Case Overview (EGR Cooler)】 ■Client: Domestic automobile manufacturer ■Effects - 50% weight reduction of the bracket, 17% overall weight reduction, and improved fuel efficiency - 15% increase in the thermal efficiency of the exhaust gas - Integration of 9 parts, with a 74% increase in heat exchange area - 20% reduction in boiling area to ensure stability *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
